At Vara Barn, we provide a range of services designed to enhance your experience, including personalized coaching, community workshops, and family-friendly events that foster connection and growth.

Accommodation

The group accommodation Halfway House in Vrapcici near the city of Mostar, which currently houses eight young people, is one of our major initiatives in the area of ​​Independence.

The aim is to help young people become independent and self-sufficient. The costs of the group accommodation, including three mentors, are funded by Våra Barn in Sweden and Our Kids in the UK through the local association Nasa Djeca.

Job training

Our primary focus is to prepare young people for adulthood by equipping them with essential life skills and knowledge.

Personal assistance

Our Children Sweden currently finances two personal assistants who provide assistance to approximately 40 children, adolescents and young adults.

With their efforts and presence on site, our personal assistants provide, among other things, psychosocial support, assistance with feeding and personal hygiene, opportunities for outdoor activities, and other practical assistance according to personal needs.

Excursions
